Art Palm Beach 2026 opens its fourth edition bringing together contemporary and modern galleries, immersive installations, and notable names from around the world. Director Kassandra Voyagis discusses the fair’s direction and its role in the South Florida art landscape. At Hollis Taggart gallery, artist John Knuth presents works created using live flies, offering insight into his unconventional process. The fair teams up with DIVERSEartPB, a platform that bridges art institutions, museums, and nonprofits to showcase three immersive installations - Birth of Light by Paju Cultural Foundation, Korea, AGUAS project by Chilean artist Eugenia Vargas Pereira, and Ixchel Suarez’s striking textile installation Tempus Fugit presented by World Textile Art Biennial. Galerie Jacques Lacoste makes its debut at the TEFAF New York fair presenting a living room stand with a selection of furniture and art pieces from the 20th century. Jacques Lacoste is a grandson of a famous tennis player known as The Crocodile, René Lacoste. His father, Bernard Lacoste, made the company into a billion-dollar enterprise. Jacques Lacoste ventured into something different. In 1986, he founded the eponymous gallery in Paris. The gallery is a well-known specialist in decorative arts of the 20th century. Monsieur Lacoste gives his highlights of the featured works in the stand. Among them are Mae West sofa by Salvador Dalí, several works by the Giacometti brothers, sculptures by Joan Miró and Ossip Zadkine, and lacquered panels by Jean Dunand. New York, NY May 10, 2024
Art Palm Beach 2024
Art Palm Beach, a contemporary art fair, returns to the Palm Beach Convention Center for the second year. Over 80 galleries exhibit at the show. The opening night is a benefit to the American Heart Association. One of the new sections is DiverseartPB, a non-profit project dedicated to promoting arts and AI, curated by Marisa Caichiolo. It presents three exhibitions: "Be Water" by Cuban artist Antuan, a collection of lost artworks from Spanish monasteries re-crated using AI, and Colombian tapestries by Carlos Castro Arias.
